CorpData announces General Availability of EntityManager™ 3.8

Latest Version of Business Entity Workflow Solution Enhances Usability and User-Configurable Taxation Functionality

Jersey City, NJ — October 2, 2013 — CorpData LLC, provider of enterprise entity management and workflow software solutions to the business formation and registered agent services industry, nnounced today the general availability of EntityManager™ 3.8, the latest iteration of its web-based software solution that supports the industry’s business formation and registered agent business.

CorpData’s EntityManager is a web-based business process automation tool designed to help business formation and registered agent service providers to process and manage business entities. EntityManager optimizes time spent on routine tasks, reducing overhead and enabling a higher level of service. From entity formation and initial order placement to ongoing management, invoicing, and annual renewals, EntityManager helps users to keep track of critical information and respond to changes and deadlines, quickly and efficiently.

This latest release provides several usability enhancements, and adds user-configurable taxation functionality for calculating and processing jurisdictional taxes.

Taxation — Taxation functionality enables the management of various tax types, such as state Sales Taxes or European Value Added Taxes (i.e. VAT or PVN). Virtually any type of taxation can be configured, and can be based on location/jurisdiction, services, or client residence. The taxable service can be automatically calculated, processed and added to a customer’s invoice, and properly identified as a tax line item.

Vendor Invoice Management — EntityManager 3.8 supports the uploading and tracking of correspondent vendor invoices. Vendor invoices can easily be linked to specific orders and even to specific line items relating to the vendor providing the service. When an order is being processed as a part of a QuickBooks synchronization, the vendor invoice is automatically imported as a vendor bill. This allows better management and control of correspondent vendor services and invoices.

Improvements to the QuickBooks/EntityManager Synchronization Module — Enables the user to map service price components to various accounts within the chart of accounts. This allows a user to break the service sold into internal accounts for Service Fee, Correspondent Fee, or Statutory Fee, for better tracking and reporting. Vendor Invoices that are uploaded and linked to orders are simultaneously uploaded to QuickBooks, enabling improved management and processing of correspondent and jurisdiction costs.

Late Fee Management — Late fees can be configured and applied to outstanding client invoices, dependent on jurisdiction. This enables the use of multiple, jurisdiction-based rules for late fee percentages, amounts and due dates. With so many of our customers operating in multiple jurisdictions, this helps to reduce the labor-intensive manual management of their clients’ late fees.

Says Misha Vaynshenker, CorpData’s president and CEO, We’re excited about the release of EntityManager 3.8, and are confident that these enhancements will enable our clients to increase both their productivity and profitability. Our goal has always been to provide not only the best value in entity management workflow solutions, but also to demonstrate a strong client focus. There are many more client-driven enhancements already in the product development pipeline, and we know that each iteration helps us to solidify our position as the technology leader in this space.”
